James Grant/Love And Money Update
Sorry I haven’t provided any information for some time..been very, very busy with The Devil’s Debt. We are just mixing the album at the moment.
What can I say?
It sounds rather momentus.
It will be featured heavily at the three Love And Money concerts in May.
Thank you to all of you who pointed out the problems with my website: my site had indeed been hacked and trashed by nasty people, but is now ready to receive you all with open arms again, with a clean bill of health and a Google certificate..
I’ve put an updated list of shows below for your perusal, the booking details are on www.jamesgrantsongbook.com
I should mention a couple of shows in particular that have been added to the list since last time;
The Burns And A’ That gig will be me, my guitar and some of my friends, Skin, Chris Thomson, Monica Queen and Fraser Spiers. Along with my own unique brew of numinous miserablism, we’ll be doing some Hipsway tunes, some Friends Again tunes, some covers and generally enjoying ourselves.
If theres anything you would especially like to hear, please email me at info@james-grant.com. If I like your suggestion, I might consider playing it.
The show at The Georgian Theatre is me and Fraser revisiting one of my favourite gigs…
The West End Festival show(don’t think this is on sale yet) is an acoustic show at Oran Mor with myself, harmonica deity Fraser Spiers, harmonium genius Donald Shaw and the divine Ms Monica Queen.
There will undoubtedly be more events as the year unfolds, I’ll try and keep you posted.
And incidentally, thank you all for your support, now and over the years.

Confusion
Some confusion has been stoked, perhaps by me and my senior moments these days..I’ve upped my Cod Liver Oil tablets, hopefully they’ll kick in soon.
If you bought tickets to the King Tut’s show – you are also invited to the aftershow – all tickets.
If you bought one of the first 150 tickets to the Rothes Halls show, you are invited to an aftershow.
..I don’t know how you can tell if you are one of the first 150, you’d have to phone the venue..
You’ll be able to hang out with all the guys, Dasher, Bambi, What’s His Name the drummer..
We can all discuss how tawdry and slipshod my performance was, it’s gonna be fun, fun, fun.
Hope this helps.
There’ll be another free download over the holiday period, so check in every so often..

This Is The Last Time
Janice Forsythe will be playing This Is The Last Time on her radio show on Saturday.
Before I recorded it for Sawdust In My Veins it was a Love And Money song.
There is one more song from this period; Sin Of Pity, that trainspotters may recognise from other projects, the rest of the songs on the new record have never been released in any format, or played live.
The album will be called The Devil’s Debt.
